Fred Troller’s Lost Textbook Design

Fred Troller was a distinguished American graphic designer and educator who emigrated to the USA from Switzerland. He's well known for his book cover designs (among other triumphs) and this mathematics textbook cover was a concept he designed that was never produced. It has long existed only in the form of paste-up "mechanical art" on a board. I've always loved this design so I created this mockup of the book as it would have looked if it had been produced and printed. I can assure you my own school textbooks never looked this cool.
