Part research library, part arts center, the Folger Shakespeare Library is located in Washington, DC, and features live theater, Elizabethan concerts, and museum-quality exhibitions. The library’s 1930s exterior architecture (a streamline-Moderne interpretation of Neo-Classicism) influenced the typography and symmetrical composition of the institution’s new logo.
