Sonik Audio
Comprehensive Visual Identity

When used strategically, color can be one of the single strongest tools to make a brand stand out and be remembered. “Chromobranding” is the process of linking a single hue to a brand, which we utilized for this firm that offers professional sound engineering and DJ equipment. It’s complemented by a distinctive mark we designed to work equally well on packaging, publications and interactive applications.

Project scope: Naming, tagline, logotype, mark, color palette, typography system, stationery and advertising design. Typeface: Clarendon by Robert Besley

For Sonik Audio’s advertising photography, we employed a duotone / posterized effect that references the lighting effects in a live concert experience.

The diagram above shows the process of building Sonik’s mark based on intersecting geometric forms, which results in a stability and timelessness that benefit long-lasting brand identities.
